Guiding Home Visiting During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Early Childhood Technical Assistance (ECTA) Center is a program of the FPG Child Development Institute of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The ECTA Center develops high-quality early intervention and preschool special education service systems, increasing local implementation of evidence-based practices, and enhancing outcomes for young children with disabilities and their families.

Collaborating with a number of partners, including the Communication and Early Childhood Research and Practice Center at Florida State University, the Iowa Department of Education Early ACCESS, the Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities, the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Division, and video producer Larry Edelman, ECTA has produced a series of videos that discuss important issues home visitors need to address during the COVID-19 pandemic. These are a component of a larger series of videos and other resources that deal with tele-intervention and distance learning as a means of service delivery for home visitors.

The videos can be freely accessed here.
